Internet Audio Read Me First File

This file contains additional information on the following:
1. The directory structure of this CD-ROM
2. How to install the software on this CD-ROM if you are running
Windows 3.1
3. How to install the software on this CD-ROM if you are running
Windows 95
1. The directory structure of the Internet Audio Tools CD-ROM
This CD-ROM is divided into the following subdirectories:
\RA - contains the Real Audio software
\WEBPHONE - contains the WebPhone software
\MSIE20 - contains the Microsoft Internet Explorer 2.0 software
Please refer to the user documentation that comes with your
Internet Audio package for more information on these software
applications.
2. How to install the software on this CD-ROM if you are running
DOS/Windows 3.1
If you have DOS/Windows 3.1 on your system, you will need to follow
these steps to install the Real Audio software.
Installing DOS/Windows 3.1 Internet Audio software.
(a) Ensure that your CD-ROM drive is installed and working properly.
If not, refer to the document that comes with your drive to solve
the problem.
(b) Start Windows.
(c) Load the installation CD-ROM into your CD-ROM drive.
(d) Select Run from the file menu.
(e) Type the drive letter of your CD-ROM drive, followed by the directory
and installation command for the desired application (see table below).
For example, to install Webphone, type D:\WIN31\WEBPHONE\WPSETUP.EXE

(f) Follow the instructions on the screen to finish installing your
application.
(g) Repeat steps d to f until you have installed all the desired
applications.
3. How to install the software on this CD-ROM running Windows 95
3.1 Installation steps on Windows 95 systems
If you have Windows 95 on your system, the software
installation process is simple as this CD-ROM is
Autoplay-enabled. Follow the steps outlined below:
(a) Insert this CD-ROM into your CD-ROM drive.
(b) The Internet Audio 'Welcome' screen which contains a menu
of available options will appear. This is the Setup
Options menu.
(c) Check the applications you want to install and click the OK
button. Follow the instructions on the screen to complete
the installation.
3.2 Additional Windows 95 Notes
3.2.1 If you wish to re-install any of the software on the
CD-ROM later, you can eject the Internet Audio CD-ROM
from your CD-ROM drive, and then close the CD-ROM tray.
Windows 95 will recognize the Internet Audio CD-ROM's
Autoplay feature and the Setup Options menu will be
made available again.
3.3 Installation of Real Audio support for Microsoft Internet
Explorer.
To install Real Audio as a component of Microsoft Internet
Explorer 2.0, Microsoft Internet Explorer 2.0 must already be
fully installed. To do this follow the instructions above in
Section 2.1 with Real Audio not checked and reboot your
computer when suggested by the Microsoft Internet Explorer 2.0
installation. Then follow the instructions in Section 2.2 and
install only Real Audio.
